Miss G is One!

So it’s happened, our little princess has turned one. I told myself that i wouldn’t let her do it and she would have to stay 11 months old forever but i guess she had other ideas.

I look forward to another year of firsts with this little one, i just hope it doesn’t go as fast as the first year.

I wish everyone a belated Happy New Year and wish you all the best in 2012!

The Chrisinger Family

I have known mom for about half of my life…you don’t have to do the math, it’s been awhile.  She was like family and then we lost touch.  I ended up shooting photos at Little Man S’s preschool without knowing it, (In my defense, she went and got married on me).  She got me a pretty awesome job photographing her friends wedding and well lets just say that we are on our way back to a great friendship.

Little Man S was just a hair goofier then Miss M, and Dad well he couldn’t resist the little patch of water at Burke Park.  He had to throw that line in the water and see if he got any bites.  Needless to say noting was caught but i do think i managed to give this family something else that will be worth while to hang on the wall.

I’m sorry that was kinda lame, i couldn’t help it.  Don’t hate me.  So great to catch up with you!

The Zimmerman Family

Miss E is friends with my little Man B at preschool, Miss M is slowly becoming BFF’s with my little Miss G.

One thing that i always tell parents is that even if the session doesn’t go as they had planned cause a little one wasn’t into the session there will always be images from the day that they will fall in love with.  I love when i meet with clients and prove to them just that.

I’m so glad that i was able to capture the beauty of your family for the second year in a row, i can’t believe how much they have grown and can’t imagine where they will be in another year!

The Voliva Family

This family i have the pleasure of living next to.  We have kiddos close in age and enjoy that our kids have someone to play and grow up with.  Mom also runs a daycare out of her home and for Miss A and Miss E it may not seem it but i think that they have just about the coolest backyard set up a kid could ask for.

Another change in temperature means another Birthday for each of the girls.  So not only did we update family pics we needed birthday girl smiles from these cuties.  I love that mom loves displaying photos as much as i do, her house is a mini gallery of my work!

Another great year of growing up little lady’s, wow time flies!

Where did the year go?

So here we are only 2 months away from 2012 and i’m no where near ready to enter into a new year!  Does anyone else want to go back to enjoy summer even for a few days?  I have a busy fall photographing so many beautiful families, i’m embarrassed to say that i’ve gotten a bit behind (ok, a lot behind) on posts!

To follow is an updated view of what i’ve been up to these last few weeks!  And since a posts feel weird with out a photo here is a photos of my kiddos on Halloween.Halloween 2011

The Henquinet Family

Several years back i was asked to photograph this great couples wedding and earlier this year capture some 1 year old smiles of their little man.  I was about a week into my maternity leave and was unable but was so excited to catch up with mom and dad as well as meet little man T this past weekend to update some family photos for them.

Little mans only interest consisted of being a boy and doing pretty much anything that involved getting dirty rather then capture some family time on film.  (OK, so i shoot digital…anyway.)  I think the end result turned out pretty cute and really captured this family in the crazy time that is toddlerhood.  Remember guys i’ve been there and i’m not going to say it gets easier it just gets more fun!

Miss G is 9 months

Not sure where the time goes or how it goes by so fast but it’s been 9 months since we welcomed our little girl into our lives.  She weighs a dainty 15 pounds, has two bottom teeth, and says “Da da” (of course).  Her brother Little man B is absolutely in love with her and is such a great big brother.  I do look forward to what the next 3 months have for us but i’m also scared to death to face the fact that my baby will soon be one.  Be prepared for the tears on that post!

Soon to be Mr. and Mrs. Swadley

Melissa and Cory, you’re two of the most amazing, giving, and loving people and i hope you know that seeing you marry next June will be a true gift.  Trusting me to capture the images that tell the story of your love is really an honor and to be honest a bit scary!  I’m just so glad that i finally get to pay you back for the amazing job that Cory did at my wedding!

Thanks for taking me on a hike in Cherokee Marsh, I can’t believe it took me 34 years to get the tour when i grew up just blocks from it!

Congratulations Tonya and Ben!

Last week Friday was unseasonably chilly, a little rainy and a day that this beautiful bride has been looking forward to for quite some time.  The sun came out just in time for this couples intimate wedding at the beautiful Schaumberg Dinner Club in Randolph, WI.

I was so happy to be a part of your special day and hope that the memories of this day are as beautiful as the love that you have for each other!  Best wishes in your new life together as husband and wife!

Soon to be Mr. & Mrs. Frederick

Most of you know that i’ve been a city girl all my life.

I love it when i get invited to come into my clients homes and experience new things!  Tonya and Ben live on some beautiful farmland and i loved every minute that i got to spend there.  I met Tonya’s horse who seemed to be loving all the extra attention or maybe it was all that grass he got to eat between shots?  Either way i’m still convinced he was posing the whole time.  At least he enjoyed himself, Ben maybe not as much but i got you though it Ben and we’ll do the same at the end of the month for the big day!

Thanks for letting a city girl get a little lost on the country roads and for getting a little taste of farm!
